In 2004, I pulled the ovens out of my house, loaded up my KitchenAid mixer, and opened Spoons Cafe in McKinney, Texas. Last year Spoons served over 200,000 people.
I love creating experiences for people and it usually involves food!
My style is very eclectic. I like a little character in my pieces and my people.
Anyone in my life better be okay with dog hair…and maybe some chicken feathers.
I have the local area’s animal rescue number memorized.
My heart races and I do a happy dance when I find treasures in very unexpected places.
I don’t think outside the box because I don’t even see a box.
Procrastination totally paralyzes me.
My mom’s 10 year battle with Alzheimer’s absolutely kicked my butt.
My alter ego, Miss Kitty, is still looking for her Marshall Dillon.
Deep, down inside I worry way too much about what people think of me.
